A chicken named Lew

I’d seen this chicken before at other games, but finally got around to asking about it. Turns out the Florida drummers take “Lew” with them to all the away football and basketball games for at least 10 years. Awesome. So I made sure to take their photos today during the game.

And what a game…. UF went on a 15-0 run in the second half to erase a 10 point lead by Alabama. Basketball is a game of runs, but I’ve never seen one quite like this before. It was like a switch went off for Bama and on for the Gators. So onto the Championship game we go.

I also tried something a little different this game and shot the first few minutes from up in the top row. Kind of fun and adds a little something different to the galleries.
